Recently finished re-reading Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis. I am now reading Nick Hornby’s ‘High Fidelity’ . Also reading A Streetcar Named Desire but thats not my choice as it’s for my A Level English Lit Course.

Those guys from Fairfax High? 20 years ago they were lucky to get gigs in punk clubs in Long Beach. What ever happened to them? 😉

Yes the ones who used to alter school signs to humiliate teachers 😉 I’ve just finished reading Scar Tissue, the autobiography of Anothony Kiedis and it was a really interesting read. Really does give you a connection to the lyrics of their songs when you realise the inspirations behind the words he wrote. I don’t actually mind a few tracks off One Hot Minute such as Walkabout, Aeroplane and Tearjerker. The stuff that I dont like at all is, unfortuanately their very early stuff ie the debut album Red Hot Chili Peppers, very poor. Still I have all the albums since Mothers Milk and I do still listen to all of them fairly often even if its just on the MP3 Player!

In a way there is a potential BoB Memorial Flight based there. After all the Me109 and Hurricane were both sides workhorse in the conflict. Put a spitfire in formation with those two examples from Breighton (albeit the Me109 is actually a Buchon) and then you have another BBMF 😀
