Thank You 🙂 I have had to learn to adapt to awkward weather conditions whether I like it or not!
My Worst airshow has to be Flying Legends 2003 also. Not only did the firefly crash at the show i was at but I was at the end that could clearly see it as it happened, the feeling of horror as the dust cloud from the field was seen 🙁 🙁 Just so much of a shock to me to hear of the tragic fate of the crew that taking photos became a lot less important and indeed i was too shocked to even watch, let alone photo the next display 🙁 An awful scene that I pray shall never be repeated.
A tribute to that aircraft and its fine Crew from me this photo was of its final pass along the display line seen as it should always be remembered RIP the two crew
All of my shots currently on my website as of 1st Jan were taken with the 75-300 on the 10d.
No these were taken using a 75-300 USM MKII lens on my 10d. I’ve only had the Sigma since this christmas.
Thanks a lot guys 🙂 I guess it was worth fighting the freezing temperatures!!
Oh Dear! The standard of photography in this thread is very poor!
Thanks a lot Damien 🙂 🙂
Nice ones again F3Hadlow. Certainly those pilatus planes are beautifull! Where there any other Irish aircraft at the show?
J.V.
No there were no more Irish Aircraft present. Those two PC9’s were very nice and the crews were very friendly.
Thanks for the comments 🙂
Cheers 🙂
The registration for that Bucker in the first pic is G-BJAL
Yeah they are great 😀 I am looking forward to their new album coming out in 2005!
Speaking of the Gazelles, is that a FLIR on top of that one on the photo ?
And yeah, nice photos.
Cheer Guys 🙂
Yes i do believe it is a FLIR on that gazelle. It was being used to control some hawks attacking the targets that day.
Yes, seen them many times over the years…
Nice 🙂 Where have you seen them? I have only seen them once. That was at Murrayfield Stadium on 13th June 2004 and a great gig it was as well! Nice photo where was that taken?
Only up until BloodSugarSexMagik, then they lost their edge.
Some people believe because that was far more funky then those that followed when they became more alternative rock.
The Vulcan is the plane inspired me to like aircraft at an early age. As i got older I grew to like the Tornado F3. Hence my username 😀
This lad is great and I hope more young people share his feelings 🙂
Anyone though of the possibilities of an IP game of FS2k4?
Indeed. It seems patriotism and pride are not allowed these days.
