I use an older design 80-200 f2.8L with a 1.4x Converter. Have been doing so for most of this year and I haven’t been dissapointed by the quality of my results, certainly on a par with seniors 100-400 a fair amount of the time. The only disadvantage is the smaller focal length which means it can be tough to get more distant pics.
Greetings to you all,
Does anyone have any photos of the RAF re-enactors at Flying Legends this year please?.
I was a member of this group and am looking for any pictures that anyone has taken(any copies please?).
Many thanks
Howard. 🙂
Were you at the VE Day show in May?
I saw the mewgull parked outside but it didn’t fly in the time I was there. As for the Arrow Active I couldnt see any sign of it, maybe hidden away in a hangar?
Like I’ve said before, great pics Gareth 😀
I love the atmosphere at Breighton 🙂
Well said 😀
Any pics Consul?
Didn’t know that was still there. Is it a RAC machine or just a resident?
Cheers Dave 🙂
Thanks very much for those nice comments guys 🙂
One thing – I heard a rumour about a mystery plane in hanger 4 – supposed to be ultra rare and in Croatian markings…..Any ideas?
Sorry I have no idea.
Mine is quite clear. It is of course the Panavia Tornado F3. I’ve always liked the way the F3 looks espescially with wings swept and fuel tanks on the wings. The reason I don’t say something like Lightning, Tomcat, SR71 etc.. is because I’ve never seen them fly (and never will most likely) and I cant completely like an aircraft until I’ve seen it doing what it was made to do.

Beautiful! 😀
Thanks everyone 🙂
Thanks for those comments 🙂
Love the twin Mustang shot
Cheers 🙂
Mr Hammond flew a superb display on both days 😀 AS did Taff Smith of course.
That is terrible news 🙁 I am really sorry to hear of this tragic news. My condolences to his family and friends. 🙁
