    CL Murmansk hulk

I see that Norway constructed a “cofferdam” around the hulk of the Murmansk and have cut her up. It took 3 years to build the cofferdam , but the hulk was cut up in less than a year. DFO 🙂

    Fire

Is there any further, accurate news, about the second Project 20380 corvette that either: A. had an engine room fire in her “chimney” that left her powerless in the Baltic, or B. had that happen, but in a Danish port? DFO

    Admiral Nakimov

I have only found ONE photo of her with the missile launcher, it appears that both A + B turrets were “hidden” when she had the launcher. Although from the angle it is hard to tell exactly what her configuration was then, but per the drawings the 6″ were pulled from A turret and it was then turned toward stern. The missile hangers were built on either side of the turrets.. Note the foremast. DFO
