I concur and apologise if I offended anyone by posting the link. I was not looking for it just came across it, never seen anything quite so shocking before.

I am not sure if this has been posted here but I just stumbled upon some new footage shown on NBC in america. It shows a new angle of the last few seconds and impact, its close and gut wrenching so be warned and please, please dont watch it if its likely to upset or offend you. RIP to those 11 souls and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

    Hello all!

It does bring up an interesting point though. How do we set about determining a ‘reasonable’ price for such things? With an item so rare surely it just comes down to how much it’s worth to you as an individual. If £3k was pocket change to me it would be in my garage right now but alas it isn’t so it’s not. Does anyone know if a true Market value for this item even exists, what did the last one sell for?

A similar thing happened to my mother in Southampton generals intensive care unit. Luckily she survived but in her case it turned out a less that ideally qualified member of agency staff had reinserted her feeding tube but just put it straight into her lung. Luckily it was found during a scan but only after 4 hours. It could have been much worse if she had been older, weaker or it had remained undiscovered for much longer. My sympathy to everyone affected in this case.

One thing you unfortunately learn if you spend much time in hospitals is that unless there is an independent witness to an incident you very seldom get the full truth.

Thank you and yes WB556 is a chipmunk. Currently in my garden in the New Forest awaiting the completion of the roof on her new home.

Sorry to sound so negative when it comes to ‘728 but along with the Blackpool vulcan she was the subject of some of the most frustrating conversations of my life!

The owner was a royal ****. I have never met anyone who enjoyed wielding the power he had more than him. He sold it at scrap value, he could have sold it for more if advertised but never had any intention of doing so. His words to me on one occasion were that he would rather call everyone that ever showed interest down and then burn her in front of us than give anyone the satisfaction of buying her.

    Sad but not unexpected end……..
