Seems a good price for a replica.
If you could have a look CADman I would be very grateful. 🙂
Thanks so much for the replies, I have a feeling that the 1971 season used the ’70 booklet, even though the pilots had changed. Couldn’t waste all those 2/6s!!
I’d like to proved wrong though.
Just as a PS has anyone heard of a book being written or published on the team? I’m sure that I heard something a couple of years ago.
In case any one else had a duff link here’s another.

Thanks for that Mothminor:)
Thanks for the reply, not much information on Pete Jones other than he was in the tour team of 1980.
I’ll keep looking :eagerness:
“What is your particular interest in the 1955 team?”
DW
Interest is with Raymond Lygo, I’ve got a couple of his flying suits, would have liked a photo of him leading the team.:)
That’s the one DW. Thanks for all your efforts.
I wonder if there are any opening of Schiphol Airport photo’s around. I’ll have to have a Google.
🙂
Thanks for the reply Mothminor. The photo’s are interesting, but sadly don’t have any dates. The Flight page is brilliant, again a bit late for me (I’m after the 1955 team, the one led by Raymond Lygo) but a great article, and what a splendid photo!
I think the Flight archive is the most useful site for historic aviation on the internet, and it’s free!
Thanks again:)
A View from the Hover
John Farleys book, utterly brilliant, and from one of the nicest people in aviation.
Don’t know if this is of any use?
Who was flying?
Sorry I can’t help further. If I was to take a guess maybe 1960 = something to do with Malaya as the RAF operation ended that year and 1973 being Yom Kippur year possibly he was based at Akrotiri. As I say totally guessing and may lead to a wild goose chase.
Good luck in your quest.
Thanks for the suggestions Mothminor, I do fear that I am heading towards a brick wall.
Thanks again:)
