Still not found anything regarding Argentina “really wanting” the J-20?…

    Hot air…

the only hot air is coming from you. argentina and j-20 mentioned in previous pages back.

but because you are lazy and feel entitled to things
lots of links on the internet

the phantom with the beige nose and grey skin is the best looking german scheme.

according to Defensenews, new Pampa variant to fly, confirmation of KC-390 interest, no mention of JF-17.

After many years no one can do anything about Syria, a puny country of 22 million people. No one can do anything about Pakistan, a country of nearly 200 million people.

indeed, no one can do anything about Syria because Syrians too intent on killing each other, and will probably be like that for years to come if not decades.
Pakistan already heading in that direction

Apologies but Argentina is reported by Janes and others as negotiating to buy the fc1. So I hope ypu won’t think we are off topic…

Janes also says there’s significant barriers.. as much as you like to deny that.
and you need more proof and details of Mirage F1 maintainance record vis-a-vis jf-17

LOL, it never ceases to amuse me how you can weave the JF-17 into virtually every topic on this forum. Seriously, have you ever considered getting that thing, you know, a life?

but what if the jf-17 IS his life!?

I don’t know, if you go by forum discussions it seems plenty controversial. People seem to start foaming at the mouth every time they hear about it, in fact. You can argue that a lot of that is pushback to the whole DSI!!!!1 thing, but it’s difficult to separate the chicken from the egg at this point.

its only controversial because a certain member keeps pushing the jf-17 as the solution for every single air force in the world.

I’m sure the Russians are looking at it and are like
damn, why did we go for a French LHD when we could’ve went all the way for a French designed carrier.

    Belfast C-1

I like it. Britian shouldve built more of these and update them rather than get Hercules.

Oh and in my opinion, the Japanese C-2 would probably end up being too expensive for the export market.

    according to Japanese sources
    http://www.chunichi.co.jp/hold/2008/ntok0011/list/200711/CK2007111002063769.html

C-2 costs $80 million, which is much more than the KC-390 (but its bigger), slightly more than An-70 (about same size?), but much less than A-400.

In theory, MKI can turn off its radar and use its passive IRST to go behind JF-17 and attack with surprise. But that is impossible due to ZDK-03 Karakoram Eagle AWACs which have AESA radars.

A rather nonsensical thread, not sure how we can compare the JF-17/Su-30MKI on a one v one basis. In reality, they may never really meet in isolation of other sensor data fusion assets. It’s like comparing the outcome of Gripen against say the F-15.

its a ratio, not actual unit number.
the idea is that jf-17 is supposed to out number the flankers.

Y-20Bacon started this to divert his gaff from claiming the Argentinians were sold on the F-1 and were not interested in JF-17s. 😀

funny how you make up stories. Did not even see the argentine news because I don’t go into every thread trying to divert it to the jf-17.
but good for argentina to consider the jf-17. but its far from a done deal as Janes states. What argentina really wants is the j-20
