The book by Cato Guhnfeldt about the 9th april,is a remarkable book. The Ogwyn George story is well written. My book is a gift from chairman of Warbirds of Norway, and include a valuable signature from Finn Thorsager who was the first Norwegian pilot to engage a German aircraft near Oslo in his Gloster Gladiator. There was 5 Gladiators who tried to stop the incoming Luftwaffe with minor success. Only one of the pilots is still alive and last year he flew with us from Gardermoen to Kjeller in Broussard LN-WNB.

I grew up in a little town south of Stavanger and just 2kilometres from my childhood home at the SlettebΓΈ Camp theres a memory of 14 british soldiers and 2 Australian Horsa glider pilots who was executed there.

The two Australians was Norman Arthur Davies and Herbert John Fraser. Both 28 years of age.

That’s what I like to hear. Going to airshows as a family. You wouldn’t get my wife near an airshow unless there was somewhere close at hand where she could go and spend my money πŸ˜€

Wish you a merry christmas and happy new year:)

Ellie is due in March so she’ll only be about four months or so by then and Thomas will be just over a year. We have to start them young before they start thinking for themselves:)
