Nice. I’d really like to see a 51 get painted in the 20th FG colors. Somewhat out of the ordinary with those piano keys.

I have met three Norwegian Spitfire pilots during the years and one norwegian who flew Halifax during WW2. In 1997 I stood beside RNoAFSpitfire ace Svein Heglund (13 victories)at Jarlsberg air show.He had a big smile on his face when Mark Hanna did some aerobatics in his MH 434. I regret I didnt asked him about his autograph.

The 24th of april I met Eric”Winkle”Brown at Gardermoen museum and had a few words with him and I got his autograph.:D

I have watched this fabulous video a number of times, believe the base is Patricia Bay? in BC. Yes in response to LimaN, Fairchild Aircraft built the Blenheim under license and changed the name to Bolingbroke, 677 were built in Canada of which 51 were “spare” airframes, 14 aircraft were fitted with P&W 825hp Twin Wasp Junior engines as the Mercury engine was thought to be in short supply. The first Boly was taken on charge by the RCAF on November 15,1939, the bulk of Fairchild Bolies were MkTs for Training in the BCATP schools and subsequently scrapped and abandoned after the war, Darrell

Thanks Bolyman It cleared things up a bit:D.

Im remember seeing the film for some time ago.I really enjoyed the aviation scenes. The nature scenes looked more Canadian than Norwegian.

I read that the Canadian Blenheim wad build by Farchild and was also called Farchild Bollingbroke. Is this correct???
