Yes, down the road a few miles from Varberg. Nearest international airport would be Gothenburg Landvetter (but Ryanair to Sรคve (Gothenburg City) would be much cheaper to fly to!)
Thanks for your answer Papa Lima.I think it will take approx 5 hours with car from my home in Oslo, or 2 hours with the Broussard:-).
Is it near the little town of Varberg???Any airports near Svedinos?
I visited the Marine museum Gotheburg harbour this summer.Very nice indeed:-)
Congratulations from Norway:-)
Thanks Old spitty for valuable information. The website Spitfirespares.com is splendid :D,and I found some more information about a couple of my instruments at home.
Nice piece – likely to be Spitfire.

Thanks Bruce.
Norway operated Spitfires,mostly Mark 9s, to 1952.
Dakota Norway at Kjeller airfield, Norway, today.

You must read “Shadow-Airlift and airwar in Biafra and Nigeria 1967-1970 by Michael I. Draper. ๐
It’s a lovely display but shame it’s not going to be a flyer though. ๐

Youre right:-).I had a seldom opportunity to climb into the HE 111 P2 and tried the pilot seat and one of the gunners positions.
Im also got a closer look at the Ju 88s and the cockpit area were pretty cramped
Unfortunatly the WoN fly-in planned for the 17th september is cancelled because of operational reasons.

Hmmm ๐ก
I ordered seat in the Broussard but Im looking forward to the fly in next year.
I found a photo illustrating Tiger Moth LN-BDM towing a German produced glider in Norway. The source didnt mentioned who many and how long they used Tiger Moths in this role.Fieseler Storchs was also used in limited number as glider tugs.
Tiger Moth LN-BDM having a yellow/black paintscheme and is based at Kjeller Airport 20 km north of Oslo.It was also used in a movie.
Tiger Moth is a splendid aicraft and I was a PAX in Tiger Moth LN MAX for two weeks ago.I also flew as a passenger in LN BDM some years ago:-).
Nice pictures
Here some inboard picture of Dakota Norways Dc 3 LN-WND taken 14th may at Kjeller air show

Last weekend the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad, the Netherlands organised a unique Dakota Fly-in. Unfortunately the faul weather prevented some participants to show up.. These included both Dutch DC-3s PH-DDZ and PH-PBA as well as “Drag-em-Oot” who were only 10 min flying away but could not make it from Schiphol.
A French Dak only made it to Northern France….(and then returned)The Scandinavians did much better…. The Finnish Dak arrived after an 8 hour flight ๐
