The more I read it sounds like some kind of political/religious protest gone wrong ?

Thats what it was about some religious protest about the pope when he made some coments about some man. Myy Uncle who was on the flight wanted to know why they could not land at Greece as they where overflying Greece at the time.

Here is the report by Joe Sharkey, reporter for the New York Times and a passenger on the Legacy jet together with a photo of the jet. Makes chilling reading.

After 7 years being sponsored by St.Ivel, the contract with Utterly Butterly has ended but they will be back for next year’s season with a new sponsor – Guilot skincare products and will be known as “Team Guilot”. Furthermore N54922 (the cowless Stearman) will be re-engined and fitted with a cowling, so they all look the same. New girls will be recruited next year and they will use ALL FOUR Stearmans for EVERY show – so you will get twice as many planes and girls for your money!!

WOW cant wait to see four Pink Stearmans shame the girls are going hope some sexy girls join 😀 and will the Pilots stay? must see if they can be avaiable for Margate airshow

Rumour control has the Skymonster as being sold last week and will be flown out! 😮 Watch this space! 😀

Is that in the UK or over the Pond?

The ‘German’ aircraft is a Noralpha 1101, which is a french built version of the Me208.

It sat out in the open, rotting away, at Prestwick for about 14 years until it was bought by Jim Hardie in the early 90’s. Over the years he has restored it, and it flew again earlier this year.

    ps lovely shots

Thank you for information. So hopeful we will see it flying more
