Went down the Airport yesterday 14/9/06 and met the Tomsonfly flight from Alicante at 16.00

Four flights arrived (Palmair 2x Ryanair and TOM) the whole place was jammed. The arrivals hall was so packed as it was raining no body could get in or out of the arrivals hall due to the amount of people standing around.

The trolley – Why oh Why do they have two different types of trolley – every day there is people pushing the wrong trolleys in the wrong lines all trying to get there euro or pound back – this is such caos and good fun to watch.

The car park was jammed no one could get in our out – 1 barrier out is just not good enough.

The trafiic was right back as far as the Top long stay car park to get out onto the main road, why oh why did they not build a roundabout at the enterance. Make no sence at all.

Moan over glad to see Prague for thomson summer 07

I thought thats what they are doing making it bigger.Dont take this wrong but should you not told the airport this and not us?

Because the Buccaneer is capable of being maintained and flown by a private organisation in the eyes of the CAA and BAe. I’d put money on the Hawk Mk 1 being operated as a private jet warbird one day (it is fitted with a RAT). The Jaguar? I don’t know the status of that one, I would say its possible. The Tornado, no way, the aircraft is not called the electric pig for nothing.

Thank you for info be cool to buy a Hawk MK 1 best start saving for one and training 😀

be interesting to see if the US pilot who hopes to fly a Sea Harrier FA2 on an experimental reg in the US is successful – they are much more flexible over there!

Wish they where more flexible over here.

I’m presuming you know what Whitley’s are ?

How about Wellingtons & (Australian) Halifaxes ?

Regarding the base & some info try…..

Landraver – Would have to agree with RobMac that you’ll certainly be pissing into the wind against the developers/authorities & usual B.S. Red tape etc.

But never say never – I thought my old local (North Weald) was a ‘goner’ till it got extensive coverage on here some time back, with various assurances that it’s safe (belive it when I see it, further down the line).
And that’s on prime land on the North-Eastern edge of London.

    Good Luck. 😎

Yeah I know those great British bombers and thank you for the website I am now with Landraver and SAVE RAF DRIFFELD hope it does get saved.
