Thank you.There did not appear to be much in the way of arrivals and departures. Based aircraft on Saturday consisted of a few Trislanders, a few GA and a Coastgaurd Islander but I believe the the airport want to expand their activities. It does look rather underused at the moment.

Is Scampton still home to the Red Arrows and HHA ? Be good to move to the old Dambuster Airfield.

With the cancellation of Leeming as a future Typhoon base, it might be that the space is needed at Coningsby.

off topic what is happing to leeming is 25 Sqn staying there aswel as 100 Sqn?

You’ve just quoted two major reasons why numerous other aircraft enthusiasts (myself included), don’t bother going to airshows anymore 🙁 .

Spitfires & Tornado’s (Yawn). .

Spitfires & Tornado’s are the best thing at an Airshows 😉 But I don’t really care what aircraft are at Airshows Fast Jets, Classic Jets ,Warbirds ,Heilcopters ,military aircraft and others. We sould be glad that there are people out there making these aircraft flying and making airshows.
