The door was closed so I couldn’t have sat in the flightdeck sadly.

Well when no one was looking open the door and sit in the cockpit and cabin πŸ˜€ Yeah not much happens there your way you say you get RAF choppers training? I see in one of your pictures a welsh thing that people say about :diablo:

I was planning MAN to LCY return with VLM on the 14th for a Training course in the City…

I know these airports are not affected but there is always a knock on affect, may just go on the GNER the day before and return on the 14th via the GNER..

Bit of a shame as i was looking forward flying into LCY.

London City should be fine dont think they are owned by BAA, This may be bad news but it means some airlines will come and visit MSE πŸ˜€

Neither. It was built in 1941, and was already superseded by the MkII and MkV in service.

That said, you didn’t specify which Battle of Britain….. 1940 or 1968?! :diablo:

1968  Oh so this Spitfire was not in the Battle Of Britian 1940.
Is there a site of its history at all?

Im sure LHR will be packed the day the A380 comes in from Singapore. Could LGW handle the A380 also or is it just LHR for London?

I think LGW STN MAN MSE and some more could handle the A380 on the runway but maybe not there taxiways.
