But in Sri Lanka theres things to do such as, Yala National Park, Sigarya Rock, Dambula Caves and all the Nice cities.

Or Surfing:D sorry could not help myself 😮 If you do a World trip I think you should visit Vancouver a wonderfull and beatiaful city with lots off SeaPlane action and if like Killer Whales go Killer Whale watching I did it and it was fantastic. just waiting to go again now:D

She has got to be the best looking 707 flying.

No the best looking 707 has to be this http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1239728/L/ and JT 707 and the other Qantas one:D BTW is EGPK Prestwick?

to replace the tech Yak 50 (not 52 – the team now usually flies with six Yak 50’s).

Southern Cross.

If it was a Yak 50 that went tech wont they use the Spare Yak 52 then? or have they sold it.

I am one for who would like the RN to have a navalized Typhoon’s or to keep the Harrier for another good few years and maybe have the GR10 😀 Why is the JSF delayed?

I read this article as well.

I have never flown to Oz before, and even now I dont think I could do it without needing a break, I only can just manage to do LHR-SFO!

?

I have only Done LGW-YVR. I would try the non-stop route but wont you get that thing with your feet? Wonder If BA will take the A350 offer.

As far as I know ( and I’m sure others will correct me if I’ve goofed ) they are basically the same plane, but the C-47 was a militarized version with self sealing fuel tanks and I think the enlarged cargo door area, as opposed to the passenger door of the DC-3. There was probably other military equipment added, and of course on some the glider tow point in the tail.

If someone has a full list of the differences, I’d like to see them all listed, so please let us all know.
