well, so far it seems to be at least 32 dead and 100+ injured, not sure about what nationalities are the all the victims, but it has been confirmed that there’s at least 1 australian 16 years old boy dead and 17 injured:(
    I’m australian.
Well I guess people might think twice before going there again.
what these terrorists phuckheads are doing is not just killing and wounding westerners they are killing they own economy and torism-industry, as from what I understand 90-95% of their jobs are associated with tourism.
after 2002 bombings they were stuffed, now one can only imagine.

If you mean the link in the post by styx (#11), it doesn’t open.
Leads to a “link cannot be displayed” warning.

Nobody can judge a link or photo that he can’t view. Sealord, in all respect, how did YOU open this link?

I just opened NP, I don’t know why you can’t open it?

that is an absolute top-good news.

And is absolutely, very impressive to see US, Brits and Russians working together to do something so good, to save human lifes. The response was so quick and efficient, and the outcome was what it was supposed to be: lifes saved and happy ending.

    Well done everyone involved.

For example the F-104 had it’s half-cone inlets covered up when in rolled out in early 1956. The thing is the Mirage III also rolled out in 1956 with the same kind of half-shockcone inlets. So who copied who? Or was it independant?

    There you go…
Sometimes certain type of requirements/performance requires certain layout/shape etc. it may not be that someone copied someone else.
I guess the shockwaves, the areodynamics and physics laws are same in US, France, Russia or England:)

On the other hand sometimes, comon sense prevails, why reinvent the wheel, if someone else done all the research etc, and certain shape/form is better for such and such, just adopt it to use it for your project.

The Air intakes on the A-5 are similar to F-14, not quite like mig-25.
F-15 and mig-25 seem to have more similarities in regards to the intakes.

where are the similarities between the a5 and mig25????, ”

what do you mean by: where are the similarities between the a5 and mig25????
are you for real or what?

    similarities:

    1. they both have wings
    2. they both have tails
    3. they are both jets
    4. they have landing gear with wheels
    5. they are both aircraft and both fly
    6. do we need to keep going on with the list……???! similarities are endless!

    LOL:)
sorry guys I couldn’t help it, I’m just having fun in this thread, but it is good keep it all coming, I’ll give it 5 stars rating.

It certainly sounds interesting, we’ll see what happens.
I’d love to see a 3-view drawing or sketch or something for it.
