Guys, first of all I’m a licensed firearms owner, both long-arms and handguns, so please don’t get me wrong here, I’m just trying to point out how other people may see us.

For this privilege (owing firearms), I had to do quite a few things, spend a lot of money, do safety courses, background checks, fingerprints taken etc.

Also the way they being stored/locked and kept are also subject to strict regulations.

As such I fully understand and appreciate the fact that gun ownership is a big responsibility and a privilege where I live and not a right, like in US.

Even being a right (as in US), perhaps that right could be (in my opinion) exercised with a bit more responsibility, and perhaps the authorities could put few more checks and regulations in place, perhaps to prevent or to reduce the chance of the wrong people getting them, as it was the case with the person responsible for the latest shooting.

Regardless where we are, all of us (the legal gun owners) are having a major problem and issues when it comes to arguing the point that we should have the right or the privilege of owning firearms – as you might have guessed it already:

Just about all of the biggest mass / random shootings where large number of people have been killed or wounded, have been done with legally owned guns , so no IFS and BUTS about it when it comes to general public or anti-gun people, so in their opinion it is pretty simple who shouldn’t have guns – the “normal” or licensed people.

I might not agree with them, but at same time I can understand how human mind works: the legally owned firearms are the problem.

Well think about it, yes if you ban the legal ones – only the criminals would have them, true – but the criminals usually don’t go and commit mass murders in schools etc, like I said above most of the mass shootings were done with “legal” firearms.
The criminals use them more often than not to kill each other or rob banks or whatever…..they don’t go shoot at random and kill tens of people in schools etc.
I know sounds stupid and at first doesn’t make sense, but unfortunately that is the problem, that WE, the licensed and responsible gun owners are having, it only takes one nut-case or sh!t-head with a legally purchased gun (because the system let him) to make all of us look bad and un-trustworthy, and in the case of Aus, twice we had to pay the price and had confiscations and laws changed:(

Well, unfortunately after the latest tragedy, the anti gun lobby may have a stronger case…..:(

hmmm very sad, indeed a real tragedy.

Not that it makes any difference to all the dead and injured and their families, but in a way it is a pitty that the gunman is dead, can’t even get answers…as to why TF:(

I took about 2000+ pics although majority are close up details, cockpits undercarriages nozzles etc etc, should help with building my scale models.

Very nice indeed I like it, I have a soft spot for twin seaters too:)

I agree that the CFT’s are spoiling the looks a bit, but on the other hand igives it a bit of “purposely” look.

    Well done Taiwan.

day 2, conditions little better today, but still trying to learn how to use my camera properly, combined with a fair bit of zooming in = the photos not as good as some of the better photographers / members here.

Anyhow, I hope you like some of them.

    Awesome Pictures.

Both F-18 and F-111 are looking Great. Btw, Is the Production of F-111 is still present?

I got few more pics from today, I’ll have to size them down a bit and I’ll post them in a minute.

I don’t understand the second part of the question though…..there’s no production of F-111.
