Yeah. Serving fat white americans is what all Cubans secretly crave to do for a living.

Take it easy Gaz…I wouldn’t have a clue what all Cubans secretively crave to do…..I was just trying to give a funny answer to a funny proposition…:p

As usual the thread turn out to be miles away from the title, so I just joined in…

You seem to be missing economic reality.
After Castro is gone…either his puppet brother will take over the secret police or propped up by Venezuelan oil money or…and here’s a smart guess:
The Canadians and Europeans (backed by American money) will turn Cuba into the new Las Vegas. Sun, drugs, girls, booze, cigars. Sounds like a great holiday resort for sun-blocked Europeans.

It still might be a technical “communist ” state..in the same way the PRC or Vietnam is now. Filled with semi-slave wage factories making goods for the west…while some get rich.

Not that is anything wrong with that…:D

Everybody wins – even the Cubans…

I found it funny to me too.So I choice to post this, not to apply some kind men’s sponsor.:D

Big boy?Yes I am the very one.
    Remote controlled toys?
    I think,
    it is another way of calling my UAV.:D 😀 😀 😀 😀

    🙂

maybe you should move to Australia, we’ll build and fly together?

that’s not what he’s saying. what he’s saying is if the guy has the education to pull it off chances are he’s got the money. Odds are that if he doesn’t he doesn’t. That’s not to say you need an engineering degree to make a UAV. Get a couple serious RC modellers, a few techs, and programmers and you could probably make a fairly decent one. Not all UAVs are Global Hawks.

I perfectly understood what he was saying, it is more or less what I was saying…..

The whole thing was just a bit funny to me…that is all……I’m just in a smart a$$ mode ATM:)

If you really want to know why it is funny to me, PM me…..I’ll explain

Do you have a degree in engineering plus several years of experience in control system design? Sorry, you don’t sound like it.

If answer is NO, my advice: Let it be.

Hmmmmm, wrong answer or question, methinks:D

If he had what are you asking, do you think he’ll be short of $2300-2500???!

I don’t have a degree in engineering, but I certainly never been short of $2300-2500 to pay for my remote controlled toys for the big boys:D

Guys, I’m not really that informed on this topic, but just using comon sense and logics:

Why would the want to fit Exocet missiles on the Learjet???

Aircraft was not the problem, the Exocet missiles was – although I haven’t looked into the matter closely lately, if I remember correctly they only had 5-6 missiles, so why would the want to mount them on a learjet when there was nothing to mount?

If they had more missiles, the careing platform wasn’t the problem, and I guess the british would have been in a deep sh!t, just as well (for the brits) they only had a limited number.

Ok, I apologise in advance, this maybe a bit embarrasing and off topic, but I’ve never used the word neither heard of it before, only past few days in a couple of threads here.

So please forgive my ignorance and lack of knowledge, but could someone please explain to me what is the meaning of the “tinfoil hat”?

    I’m serious, – honestly I don’t know and I’m curious…

I mean – obviosly I know the words, but why is it used and what it means and what’s the history on it…?

    Thx

    I think J-10 resemble Mig 1.42/1.44 right??
is it possible they stole some design or buy it to Mikoyan>?>

Hi, you do realise that the MIG in question is a lot larger than J-10? The wingspan is larger than the J-10 (1.5 times +), it is about 4-5 metres longer and is also twin engined and twin finned etc etc.

If we do go by general layout, than all the delta canards are the same…

    so, the J-10 = mig 1.42/1.44 = eurofighter = rafale = gripen = lavi = whatever, they are all deltas with canards…?

It may be influenced by certain design/s (same as many other aircraft out there), but that is about it, methinks.

    cheers

It appears to be a 57th Fighter Interceptor Squadron F-4E mishap in Iceland. The aircraft landed safely.

There were several incidents of F-8s catapulting from their carrier with the wings still folded (at night) early in the aircraft’s career… most made a rather higher-than-normal-speed landing back aboard… but a couple either lost control at launch and crashed, or the pilot chose to takethe seat ride rather than risk the landing.

There were a couple of F-8 folded land take-offs as well, but those all resulted in landings.

This was possible because, like the F-4, over 3/4 of the lift was still present… and the control surfaces in the inboard sections were sufficient to allow control to be maintained.

The F-8 was then fitted with a nice, large warning light that showed whether the wings were “spread & locked” or folded/not locked.

ok, probably not related to “folded” wings, but still when we are talking about F-8 Crusaders, here is an interesting photo – overshoot – oooops – eject.

by the way I love that plane, really cool

Hmmm someone asked if it is photoshop-job, I don’t know, I wouldn’t think so, as the rest of the photos I got in the same folder all come from same place and seem genuine, there are some really interesting and awesome photos.

I’m not sure if I should post them here, as I don’t know where they come from and who took them, just don’t want to get in trouble for not being able to give credit or provide link.

Anyhow just a couple more interesting ones…

    regards
