“I bought a full size spitfire replica from a welsh meusem mayers atra.with the intention of restoring it .I own a tank driving company http://www.tanks-alot.co.uk thought it would make a great prop ,dident realise they cost over 20k and decided it would look better in the woods as a crash site.The plane came with a brand new c0ckpit canopy so i put that some were safe and smashed up the plane with the digger then carefully made a crashsite in the woods .
we still have light aircraft flying round and round not believing their eyes the shape of a spitfires wing with those roundals showes for miles
So this auction is for one perfect canopy glass ready to be cut to size for fitting in a c0ckpit, believe the plane was originally made for the film ,PIECE OF CAKE”
