Ive had a very good find thanks to the grape vine again a brand new june 1940 dated prop 90.25 inches long and says cheetah on small brass plate and a few other numbers. The restoration of the engine itself is coming along I have repaired and blasted the engine to nacelle mounting ring it took lots of heat and a very large hammer to straighten . Then a new piece of plate welded in. here is some pics of the prop

Im sand blasting and glass bead blasting as im trying to do it all in house. Next one is im going to weld some ally castings with a mig and ally wire as the local tig welder wants a stupid amount of money £30 an hour plus, gas, rods, and consumables and reckons the three castings that are broken will take two working days its a joke theres only four inches of welding.

Hi all ive managed to get another cylinder off and have another compession ring missing. Does any one know of some piston rings for my cheetah engine? Ive also repaired the baffle plate that I blasted through and the repair is now invisible. I am also looking for a supplier that would have main bearings made by hoffman..
