From what I gather the weather is going to be Crap tomorrow. If anything it will be Worse that to-day. I’m NOT bothering going, and I have heard a lot of people say this.

I remember some years ago (quite a few) there was a Mossy at the old Liverpool Airport in the old hangar which became the International Terminal. I managed to climb into this a/c and it seemed in very good nick. What ever became of this aeroplane??

Re your enq, try a book by Norman Franks called Another Kind of Courage. It is the story of the UK Based Walrus ASR Squadrons in WW2.
It may be of some help to you ??

They should have to take out an insurance for such an incident BEFORE they go and do such (in some cases stupid) so called adventures.

I think the days of the RIAT in the present format are or will be soon over. When they get back to ON-FIELD parking and downsize ie: hold it somewhere else than Fairford,plus re-price then a lot more families will return to see a show with some entertainment for everyone. The out of the way airshows do it and give a LOT of pleasure to people.

People say “IT’S PRIDE IN THEIR COUNTRY” but I notice a distinct lack of flag’s on cars to-day. Hows that for PRIDE or is it only when a gang of OVERPAID and UNDERWORKED POOFTERS kick (and they dont seem to do this so well) a football around???, WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE TIME.

Hi Cargomaster
Was the super photo of the B-50 refuelling some USAF a/c taken at Liverpool Speke in the 50s. I remember seeing a similar thing at a display at appro 500ft (over the crowd) at Speke??.
