EZY’s fleet has grown so fast, and with various airframes, it is costly. With a carrier like WN, their fleet gradually grew over time and maintaining the same frame, this saved tons of money. IMHO, any LCC that diversifies their fleet with too many models and mfgs. are asking to be hit hard in the pocket book. Oil prices hit every single carrier no matter what plane they fly.

Sucks…yes…but a new bird will come aroun. I loved flying the -57, many great flights via TWA!

N709TW was my most frequently traveled 752…logged almost 100 flights (97 to be exact!) and if I could figure out how to post pics I would 😡 is just get little red x’s

I see so many pics of European airports where you deplane via stairs..Heck over here we don’t have many places where you can claim that. 🙁 . Even at tiny airports like KMKG here in the US where there are only two friggin gates, they have jet ramps to deplane people from SF340,CRJ200, B1900…stupid…

I had that same feeling too after a friend of mine perished on TWA800, but statistics do show that you have a better chance of being killed in a car accident than on a flight…While flying through thunderstorms will jolt the most seasoned of fliers, there is not a reason in the world to fear severe turbulance….I just get nervous when the old NWA DC-9s we get on start creaking and cracking….like they are about to fall apart….

Damn! duo too??? when did they close their doors??? In the US the small regionals are really doing well……
