well in year-over-year through 5 months of 2004 it is hard to predict what is to come but if statisctics can be of any use (oh my GOD I CAN use it!) we are on pace for 28.8 this year…which is 3 more than 2003….regardless of the stats….God for bid should any other airliner be lost..

All ex TW birds still have the original reg#s and little TWA stickers on some of the planes…in regards to the engines…it made sense for them to ditch the PW since the majority of the ‘Evil Empire’s” 757s have RR and had totally different conifigs on them.

@ Greekdude…I will look into the information. More than liekly your LAX-JFK was on a 707-131B.. as far as JFK-ATH..I will have to research more for sure. I have tons of old TWA timetables…

well yes and no…the MD-80s are all in AA colors now…AA also repainted 99% of the 752s but are now sending them to the desert since they have P&W and not those watered down hamster wheel RR 🙂 ….AA also began to paint the 717 in the interim livery, but then did not merge them into the fleet..many are now in australlia, US and Asia…all 763 and 762 were returned, scrapped or sold..all DC-9s were scrapped
