Sorry!! Red Wine talking, but surely if you asked Lincs Lanc they would have told you.
Sign of going mad you know, talking to one’s self!!!!!!!!!!
I,m sure the Denney’s will enlighten you!!
Cheers, Have a nice evening!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny old me!!!!!!!!!1 I thought this was the Historic Avaition site not the Historic Joke Site!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PM631 and last Chippy should be returning to Coningsby this evening so making a full complement at BBMF except PS915 as previously stated now with ARCO. Anybody visiting the Hangar now should get a good tour as the museum is now fully open-10 to 15.30 I think.
All but PM631 and a Chippy. PM I believe has engine problems or is it fuel!!!!!!!!
I haven’t come across a Flight Mechanic Bloggs!!!!!!!!!
No such Rank
It was very good to be there!!!!
Only problem was the few people who seemed to think that the day was specifically for Lincs Lancs members, without taking into account the weather, and the availability of the runway. BBMF did a really good job in getting the a/c back despite the weather. I believe that the vast majority who stayed were treated to 20 mins of very good and tight displays, especially when the Lanc came roaring over the hangar!!!! from the opposite direction that people were looking.
Nice to hear somebody getting back onto the actual subject of this thread!!!!!!!!!!
BBMF Personnel are currently evaluating a beta version of a CD Rom that is about all the Lancasters that are in existence at this time.In due course the CD Rom will be available. I believe that BBMF are aware of your idea and will look into it.
Latest from BBMF:
Lincs Lanc Day is to go ahead, both Hurricanes will fly in at about 11.00 with one Chippy. The rest of the a/c (Lanc, Dak & Spit x4) will arrive between 14.00 – 14.30. PS915 and a Chippy will stay at Barkston as the spit is flying to Duxford on the Monday for a “Major” at ARCO. However this is all weather permitting and on the runway being available.
