Rolls Royce, pilot Major Day
Sorry to correct your spelling, but I think you will find its Coningsby. Last I heard is that the BBMF a/c are not definitely going home next W/E. I believe Lincs Lanc day is going ahead but possibly with flypasts. Just a snippet I believe the Lanc is at Waddo since landing there on Sat afternoon due to unfavourable winds and some trees that have still not been cut down!!!!!!
That’s funny that!!!!!!!!!!!
Heard through the grapevine that the Lanc is just about servicable however won’t make displays this weekend, but should be OK for Jersey/Guernsey
Yes you will lose the Techies if you keep having a go at what they say, however most people can take ribbing so long as it doesn’t get personal.
BBMF change paint schemes because they are a Memorial flight and therefore want to represent as much as poss to honour as many as possible.
BBMF displays have very strict guidelines and they are adhered to because they want to preserve the aircraft as long as possible, and judging by the 650+ displays and flypasts carried out every year are very much appreciated by alot of people, no matter what colour or which part of the aircraft is seen.

That comment typifies exactly what Warbird UK is trying to say!!!!!!!!!!
How about useful comments or none at all?

It’s not raining THAT hard this morning…..
hows the weather now mate???????
BBMF are due to display at 14.17 tomorrow weather permitting, however the forcast for tomorrow is not good so be prepared to be dissapointed!
A second Lanc would be a great idea but you would all possibly have to club together again to build a new hanger to store it!!!!!
I believe it has alot to do with making sure the whole country sees the Lanc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think this is the right time to have this debate guys.M
Well said. You have surely got to think about their families at the moment and not the rights and wrongs about who was in the a/c at the time.
I saw this Yak around Louth on tuesday evening. I believe it landed at Manby
A big bird has told me the Lancaster will be at Waddo at 14.25 Sat & 14.34 Sun. I hope this is the info you require
