Lanc delayed 2 hours, somebody had better let the fence sitters know!!!
On behalf of everyone at BBMF we would like to say thanks to all that turned up today and I think that you witnessed some superb flying today. It turned out to be a glorious afternoon’s flying and I hope that everyone enjoyed the flying and that you will all come back next year. I would like to personally thank everyone who purchased something from our trailer and that they are helping to keep our aircraft flying. I look forward to seeing some of your photos.

You need to thank dodrums for the pic for it was he who posted it.
Yes I know he has pm’d me to say no problem. Too busy getting into chat with Moocher(who I know well- TOO WELL) to read the thread properly.

By the way hope you don’t mind the picture is now my desktop. Don’t get many of me at work!!!!!!
As I said, “panels” expert. Once panel off hand over job to engine expert.
You mean someone fixed it for you don’t you “Stormin”. I didn’t think you got your hands dirty these days…..
I’ll have you know that I was the token rigger who had to come in early to sort panels out. So we missed the hanger party on Sat evening, and just had a quiet drink in St Andrews!!!!!!
Spare sent up Sat evening/Sun morning, went in at 7.30am and we had it fixed by 10. Left on time Sun afternoon.
No sorry we didn’t manage to display at Jersey or Guernsey, however we did enjoy ourselves in Jersey and look forward to next year. Just got in having been to Leuchars after Jersey, now shattered!!!!!!
Why do people always have to hijack threads. If it doesn’t interest you ignore it, but don’t spoil his ideas however far fetched they might be. Let him dream.
No mate I am on leave at the moment.

Have you thought about sending some of those pictures to the BBMF website. We now have a enthusiasts picture section on the site. Also I’m sure some would be good for the Brochure next year.
Congrats to Andy for a stunning photo- I’d be surprised if BBMF themselves don’t ask to use that one!
Funnily enough we do, seen as it has come from our Website!!!!!!!!!!!!
After 20 mins cooking in the mid upper, waiting to take off, believe me you need all the fresh and cold air possible. I think I lost 10 pints over last weekend at Farnborough in the mid upper. Sunderland this weekend looks like it could be just as bad.
The BBMF C-47 also failed to show, but as I was fortunate enough to be away from the tannoy, I didn’t hear the reason for the cancellation.
BBMF Dak was unserviceable at the weekend, however the lads were really dissapointed to miss the 3 odd hour trip there then back again!!!!!!!!
What’s up with PA474, BTW?
Lanc is still at Manston, awaiting favourable weather to leave. Had a wheel change Mon. OK now just the weather.
