It’s great to see the old girls in an operational role, and earning their keep, just goes to show how many of the worlds air arms dismiss and replace their hardware far too early!
Just out of curiosity, whose Dak is that also seen in the photo,?nice colour scheme!
I recall ARCO were involved in that? Didn’t John Romain go along into the jungle? Can’t for the life of me remember what type though,a marauder perhaps.

Classic flight ditch plans to move to Newquay and plan to give their Coventry site a fair crack of the whip!
MMMMMMmmmmmmm, i was of the same sort of thinking, were there any Blenheims in panama though?

mystery prop
i guarantee youll have a name and a very possible airframe before the days out, it never ceases to amaze me how many boffins there are on this site who simply know their onions! id say British, but hey what do i know?
Rumour mill
There a good chance theres some Tudors in there as well!
Manc Shack
To be honest that Shack should have been housed in the Cold war museum at Cosford from the very first, i remember seeing a cardboard/plastic architects model of the proposed CWM probably nigh on twenty years ago now which had a primitive Shackleton mk3 in it along with the v bombers and if memory serves me a valetta too, what dedicated Cold war museum wouldnt have a Shackleton in it? Ok an AEW would have been possibly more appropriate, however i feel its a tad late late now there isnt much room for anything close in size to a shack never mind a valetta!.
Ruskin Air Services dakota
