    Latest Vulan Drivel!

Youre right! Bl–dy emotional blackmail, i used to have a girlfriend who did this everytime i threatened to leave her! If thats the case park the damned thing up and call it a day! please dont get me wrong i too go weak at the knees and the hairs stand up on the back of my neck when i see the Vulcan, I have also given generously to the cause over the last seven years but it is all getting abit much now on this emotional roller coaster which is the VTTS trust. Fire her up and fly her down to Brunty or Duxford and then throw away the ignition key. Im beginning to feel it wont be long before someone starts asking questions about just where all this money is going? i can see the ‘Vulcangate ‘ enquiry splashed across the front pages of the press now!

    Lanc/Shackleton spars

Actually i have a feeling from my dark and distant past that certainly the Shackleton 2 and Lancaster spar are identical, when you consider that the Lincoln used the same spar as the lanc and the Mk2 has the same wing As the lincoln then you can see this should’nt be a problem, However how many spars for Lancs,Lincolns or Shacks are left i wouldnt want to speculate on. The Shack mk3 was a different beast altogether as the Undercarriage was literally turned round and made to retract forwards this entailed much re-work on the spar.We must bear one thing in mind here, If man made it once he can make it again!.

Now there are two aeroplanes you might not think would share a great deal in common! I flew in Martin Wilings from Jersey once what a day out that was!

    B17 on the moon!

i can quite clearly remember the photo that appeared of the B-17 on the moon and also quite clearly remember the hazy photo being a B-24 !! Such is the class of these newspapers, the only thing you can truly beleieve in the papers of today is the date and id be inclined to double check that too!

I must say that i too feel dirty and perverted now too.

I was just standing in the queue at the post office and idly looking at the magines in the rack next to me when a headline suddenly takes my eye.

    ‘Jimmy Savile Perved over me’
    By

    Kerry Katona.

I truly had no idea that things had gone that bad for me!
