Well i think its bloody funny! and should be taken for what it is, a slightly humorous stance on what is after all a very sad state of affairs that has clearly had us all hoodwinked for a very long time. As for the money he raised for charity well i guess thats how he slept at night and justified it to himself. Actually thinking about it those two men have a lot in common!

Mossie first flight

Please take a tip from me, Never ask a build like this when the first flight is… You seem to lose all respect from the team, It takes as long as it takes, and even when a project looks complete there are still usually a thousand and one items that are outstanding or awaiting approval of one sort or another. I think the old addage that when the paperwork weighs the same as the airframe its ready to fly!.

Ive actually seen a dead Badger being dropped onto the road from the nearside door of a pick-up so it does happen!

Fantasy museum!!

Oh yes just imagine a bright summers day, a Wyvern on finals, a Mossie just warming up for take-off with a Bristol Freighter on the flightline and a hoard of eager enthusiats paying a pound to walk through. Period style ice cream vans selling those cornets where the ice cream was rectangular and in a little wrapper.in the hangars can be seen a number of ‘on the go’ projects including a Blackburn Botha and a whirlwind nearing their completion, walk through to the other side of the hangar back into the open and Beaufighter is being rolled into the sunshine awaiting its turn to display. look down back to the flightline and theres a line up of magister, miles hawk. gemini and prentice. anyone care to join me and look in the other hangar?;)
