As there has been an Airshow for many years at Rougham ,the Estates Office should give an answer WHY there are no more events planned for Rougham next year ?? After all why cancel what was a very very popular Event , there must be some body who has decided they are not having anymore Events ,who would that be ?

We went to the Main Airshow in August ,and we went into the Naffi for a cup of tea and cake ,and the chap and his wife who run the Naffi told us that the Airfield and Buildings were protected from Developers coming in and building new homes on the site , the Airshow had a very large crowd attending , seems to me that seperate people run the Air show ,does anyone know who runs the shows at Rougham ?? It would be a real shame if it all comes to a close

F15 Practice Display Duxford Airshow

Does anyone know on here if the F15 Demo Team are doing a practice Display at Duxford on Thursday or Friday ? For this weekends Airshow ?

Does anyone know if Bentwaters will be having an Airshow next year, only i was told it will be every 2 years ,as some of the locals dont like Airshows,i was told there will not be any more Airshows at Bentwaters ?

I was talking to Glen Miller a few weeks ago at the Red Feather club ,its a WW2 american Airfield near Horam , just off the Diss road ,well worth visit if you are in the area ,open once a month to joe public on a sunday,and he was playing the original 78 records ,recordings to boot ,,a very nice chap to meet

Any info on the Aircraft on Static Display would be usefull ? Looks like it could turn into a mini Fighter Meet of days gone by ,but i know its a Flyin NOT an Airshow

As a person that has been going to Airshows for many many years ,i often wonder why some of these very popular shows packed up ,the Fighter Meet at North Weald ? some people say it was Epping council as they had a large loss because of the market stall income was lost ,i think it was the Policing costs ,it was always over policed ,The Rochester Airshow another example ,everybody decided to watch the show from outside in the high street ,they said never again as they lost 20,000 pounds of their own money over it ,so i was told ,what about the Shepway Airshow ,folkstone ,thats no longer here ,anyone know why that packed up ? that was a very good show ?

Oh interesting ,not been to Old Buck for about 4 months but now the weather is improving i will get down there to see some flying ,its not as good as Headcorn of course ,im allways wearing a blue fishing hat ,how would i know who you are ,if you are there of course ??

I wish i was a bit nearer to Shuttleworth ,its about a 90 mile trip each way from here in Norfolk ,talking about the cost of fuel ,being a Radio Ham for many years ,i talk to a lot of ham ,s in the USA on the radio and they tell me they are paying around 4 Dollars for 1 Gallon ,about £1-80 and they think its really expensive there !!!!!

Thank you for that information ,i have allways wanted to get there on a training week ,not been to a show at Shuttleworth for about 9 years now since they put the Airshow prices up ,but it would be usefull if you could post on here what is flying with about 2 days advance notice ,as i could only travel there for one day from here in Norfolk ,its a shame the Shuttleworth dont post whats on that week as i am sure it would give them some extra income on that week as well ,as quite a few retired people would go ,like me

I heard rumour recently that the Air Show Office was open at Mildenhall ,has anyone else heard the same rumour ? For me it was the highlight of my Airshow year,for many years,and what with all the doom and gloom there is about ,it would bring a much needed boost to Mildenhall and the surrounding Areas
