It was a pretty good show ,does anyone know why there was no Typhoon Display ? at the Airshow

Thank you for the info ,i assume the Typhoon will be will be at Marshalls ,is it likely to do a Practice Display before sunday at DX ,if so which would be the most likely day for that ??

Great Photo,s of Headcorn ,i do miss going there ,its the best place in the country to watch real flying ,,very nice people that run the museum as well ,not been there for 2 years since moving to Norfolk ,is it still possible to camp there ? or perhaps tow an old caravan there and leave it for my summer hols ,i wonder what that would cost ??

i have been trying to think ,it may have been a Wessex ,not Whirlwind ,could have been 20 years ago at one of the old RAF Henlow show,s ,they had some good Airshows at Henlow years back ,i guess i have made a fool of myself ,in future i will think more carefully before putting a posting on here

I seem to remember seeing a Whirlwind flying at an Airshow ,not that many years ago ,it was privately owned ,it must have been about 12 years ago ,anyone know where it is today ?

Yes your right Yak11 Fan ,the top of the wing went over the fence ,it was not a crash as such,i seem to remember at the time ,his Harvard was up for sale for 70k ,the Yak was 420 k ,do you know where it is now ? with regard to the Hurricane meet at North Weald last sunday ,just go,s to show you cant believe all you read on these forums ,
