East Kirkby Airshow

I was going to go ,but because of the weather forcast ,i wont be going ,they put on a very good show a few months ago when they had Lola Lamour singing in the Hanger ,and they also had an original Lancaster Bomber crew answering questions ,but ,,2 points,,they kept having a power cut ,so the singing had to stop 4 times and also the PA was pretty poor and you could not hear what the Bomber crew Veterans were talking about ,,which was a great shame ,im sure Maurice and his band of merry men will try their best to put on a good show ,very nice bunch of people at the 93rd bomb group open day,the smoke generator,from a mobile disco i assume in the hanger made me laugh anyway ,,Cheers Terry

Bentwaters Open Day 2009 Sunday 14th June

It would be nice if James May from ToP Gear was to turn up for the Open day ,i know they use the Benwaters Runway for some of their Car Tests on the ToP Gear show ,looks like a very good day out and easy to get to just off the main A12 Motorway

Mildenhall Spitfire Display

I think you will find the BBMF Spitfire is doing a Full Display at RAF Mildenhall on friday 15 th May ,not just a Flypast , does anyone on here know what other Aircraft will be there at this Private Event ?

Just Spotted from my back garden 6 miles east of Norwich ,a Formation of around 12 F15 s, they looked like F15,s heading south west at 2,30 pm ,anyone know anything about them ,, ??

Hello Ken i am a keen Radio Ham ,and i contacted East Kirkby on the Ham Radio on the 80m band a couple of weeks ago ,their callsign being GB2CWP ,CWP being the initials of the Patton brother that was killed in a Lancaster in WW2 ,and they told me they are going to get Just Jane flying again ,within 2 years ,I also contacted GB2DHH they were sitting in the front of a COMET with their Ham Radio Kit ,sunspot cycle 24 should be good ,

F16 Pratice Display at Duxford

i should think the F16 will be at RAF Mildenhall for the Sunday Airshow at Duxford ,does anyone here know when it will be flying in to do a practice Display for the Duxford Air Show ,will it be on Friday or Saturday ?
