what A330 series do Monarch use as the Emirates A330 seems to have a bigger wing span it takes up stand 30 and stand 8 has to be empty whilst the Emirates is on pier because the wing overhangs stand 8, i though it was the same series A/C that monarch uses?

It’s all mentioned on the NPPL website http://www.nppl.uk.com/ under licence allowances. Are you planning to add the SEP rating to your NPPL?

well over time my ultimate goal would be to obtain my CPL so i can atleast make some honust money out of something i enjoy, but im trying to do it as cheaply as possible, im assuming SEP is Single Engine Prop, so yes i suppose eventualy maybe a year after obtaining my SLMG i will yeah, i’m ashuming that is the equivilent of the full PPL except restricted to the NPPL restriction etc?

i also know from my research into the NPPL that you can only fly UK registered aircraft, correct me if im wrong but that G- registered aircraft isn’t it?

it says you can’t fly N registered aircraft i thought the majority of UK GA Aircraft were N?

I think music would be a good idea in airports as it would relax people better, but the biggest problem is that because people just pass through an airport, they would probably not be bothered by what was coming through the PA system; unless it was an announcement to say that their flight had been delayed/cancelled!

Then you also have the issue of trying to please everyone’s taste in music…not everyone enjoys ‘chillout/easy listening/instrumental’ music.

Here are some other ideas that I think airports should do in order to make passengers journeys less stressful…

    1. Turn radiators off during periods of hot weather. Here at LGW, they are always switched on, which makes it very hot ‘n’ stuffy indeed.

    2. Improve air-conditioning system to allow better air-flow around the building. Combined with the body-heat and sweaty smell of passengers, it is not very pleasent!

    3. Encouraged use of self-service check-in kiosks to reduce queues at check-in. I know Northwest, Virgin Atlantic, Thomsonfly and Sterling all use the same kiosks here at LGW…perhaps more airlines should be encouraged to sign-up to use them!

    4. More security staff to reduce queues.

You just described NCL perfectly, 1 HELLLOOOOO carbon fottprint engergy wasting HELOOOOO
2)Bingo combined with No.1 horrible place to work

    3) yeah when you can’t get into work for the q’s at checkin you know theres a problem

    4) its not even my job but i have to help in security!!!!

Come to the main terminal at GLA, where you can enjoy the ‘cash register overture’ all day long !

You can’t even hear the planes taking off anymore !

You could play ozzy osbourne at full volume at NCL and you will still no there is a Departing/Arriving A/C – The ceiling tiles shake and it sounds like there is an earthquake shaking the building, i swear that airport is built out of balsa wood

Yeah looks like their ONLY aircraft has been going Tech a few times. With only 1 767, just like Zoom Canada, its hard to claw back lost time and they seem to be struggling!

Well Wadda you know its a Canadian Flyjet lol

News reports are saying it simply skidded while taxing causing the engine to explode, surely that is not enough to cause the engine to explode unless it sucked something substantial into it?

    there we go:

Singapore Airlines had been receiving several requests from aircraft enthusiasts across the world for a seat on the inaugural passenger flight of the A380. Since there was a huge rush for the tickets, the airline thought of capitalizing on the rush and doing something or charity form the proceeds, said Singapore Airlines in a statement.

Tickets will open for bidding on E-Bay’s Singapore web site http://www.ebay.com.sg/ in August. The ticket auction proceeds will be split into three and the proceeds will go to Singapore’s Community Chest Sydney, Children’s Hospital at Randwick, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, both in Sydney Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders.

ExxonMobil is donating aviation fuel for the return flight. PayPal and E-Bay are giving discounted rates for the auction.

The lowest price for a single round-trip ticket from Singapore to Sydney costs S$900 (US$597) on the Singapore Airlines Web site. However, that price is only valid until Sept. 30.

checked that site and nothing yet unless they’ve all been sold?

is there a minimum legal age to buy laser products such as laser pens, rifle scopes etc?

if so it should be raised or you should have to provide some sort of license to purchase such products all it takes is one incident where it does blind both pilot and cause a disaster then the government etc will start kicking up a fuss
