Bruce Forsyth has been awarded a Knighthood:(
Why is it that these people in show business get such awards, for Gods sake they are only doing a very highly paid job at the end of the day.
    Lincoln .7

And why not,hes performed for 69 years and been at the top of his game for some 50 years of that.

Ahhhh thats a few yrs ago, the Warthogs!! low, slow, but they packed a punch, but they never seemed to be ablle to hit the target.
I went to RAF Holbeach main control towere on the range one day with a Sgt, in my Patrol car, it was a good tea spot, and the view over the range and targets was brilliant. The A10s were using the range, along with some of our Harriers. When the Yanks were using the range, there was always a U.S. Captain in the tower.
Myself and Sgt, cups in hand stood behind the U.S. Captain, when the A10s came on the range, and the “Hits” counter was registering virtualy nil hits.
I said to my Sgt, knowing the U.S. Capt would hear, “Tell you what Sarge, the safest place to be when the Yanks are firing, is in the middle of the target” nothing was said, and we left the tower, going along the aproach road, the Patrol car was buzzed by two A10s, and the car was nearly blown over, they were so low.Frightened the life out of us, guess the USA Capt had the last laugh.;)
    Good old days.
    Jim.

Ah that used to happen a lot,The A10 drivers used to practice their vehicle tracking on poor unsuspecting motorists.
I once counted 3 cars in ditches on the way there as they’d lost control on noticing a huge 30mm cannon with wings following them.

do you get a blue light with that mini?

I didn’t fight my way to the top of the food chain to be killed by a cucumber.
