    VJ day

A big thank you to the allied forces.
I had four great uncles and a granddad involved in ww2.
One in europe, north africa,at sea and two in Asia.
both uncles who were in Asia never really stopped living their war years, one spent three years in a prisoner of war camp, the other contracted malaria in Burma and i vividly remember him having malaria attacks on a regular basis, this is possibly what ended his life prematurely at the age of 58.
when you get older you on just begin to realise the sacrifices these people made.Day by day i miss them more and never really had the chance to say THANK YOU properly.

Actually, thinking about it, I would really like to see RockStar Games do a flight sim for the PS-2, along the lines of Secret Weapons over Normandy (my all-time fave flying game on console formats), with the simple flying controls they use in GTA:SA. I mean, if the Rustler had a proper in-cockpit view, and a way of allowing you to see around you (like in the Ace Combat series), it’d be even better!

The R/C Baron is stupidly easy to fly, manoeuvres like hell, and has guns – what more could you want?? 😀

HERE, HERE, not my usual forum as this pc is older that fuller to run flight sims,so the idea to have a half decent one on the ps2 would be nice,I keep an eye on this forum to see what you guys are flying and whats new ,there is some prity impressive sims about now,the last i flew was the airbus a320 on the amiga.

Nowadays, the F-16 will rather choose your lawn. Which does for a very nice ornament.
If this happens do we have to give it back it being our garden and all.

Only 50 hours, what a poof, any one over 35 who remembers the early text adventure games, knows 50 hours would just about get you out of the Forrest on the road to the spooky castle.

    Lovely pick Geoff.
Living on the edges of town, our foxes occasionally knock over the bins and empty the contents over the garden.Nothing i know to what the country folk have to put up with but they are wild animals and all.Surly grown men can build a coop to keep out the crafty old fox.
