In the past 24 hours ive driven over 600 miles from Edinburgh to London and from London to Leeds.
I set off at 2am this morning to be in London to pick up a sick friend ,i got as far as the M40 before the tiredness got the better of me.Like a good boy i pulled into the services,it cost a fortune for a manky sandwich and a tea.I then left the engine running and fell asleep in the car.Only to be woken about an hour later by some bloke in a fluorescent jacket, asking me to pay for the parking.
Out of my stupor i said Ive not been here that long,he said yes you have Ive been watching you,he was right 2hours and 10 minutes id been on the services.
I tried to explain this is the only sleep Ive had in probably 22hours,he said he didn’t care and cough up or move on.
Now a tired grumpy, and possibly pretty miffed by now yorkshireman must be a sight to see because when id finished with my tirade of abuse at him,i noticed a fair few cars with drivers in the same boat as me all looking my way.

“Hawker Hunter Jet with Buccaneer seats. In full working order and hangered at Exeter Airport . Available for viewing and test flights prior to purchase if required. Good flight and service history can be provided. Fully operational ,with working ejector seats, and used several times this year.Speed from 400 MPH !!

Many pilots available for training or flights if you are not a pilot but wish to experience owning such a powerful jet.

Buccaneer seats enable right or left controls and so ideal for training or simply for fun.”

So you really want to have an extra day off and are prepared to give up a days worth of wages/beer money for an event that is of little significance to you personally and that you unlikely to be invited to…thats a bit daft, isn’t it?

Dont know about you, but i get paid for bank holidays. So daft???? NO
