I’ve seen a lot of people die in the course of my work, in all sorts of ways, from the comfort of a bed and a loving family to the most horrific trauma. Each and every death has one thing in common none of them are dignified. We try to dignify the circumstances and the surroundings but the actual act of dying is the most undignified of all.

    Regards,

    Rubbish…..
Any death is the single biggest thing every human WILL go through, so if some one leaves this place either kicking and screaming or slips away in their sleep,so what happens with the remaining body (with out getting graphic) is not undignified, its natural.

Eight British soldiers killed in Afghanistan in 24 hours. What can you say ?

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

Gherkins though, what’s the point of them ?

For tired husbands to be driving to the 24hour tesco at 9 at night for heavily pregnant women’s cravings.

Having to carry boxes and boxes of expensive electrical kit across a large car park in torrential rain, because the jobs worth security guard wouldn’t let us park near the door to unload.
Then finding half of the kit is too wet ,because the company who supplies them in some sort of cost saving exercise has decided not the wrap it in plastic within the polystyrene protection.
Final straw, watching the security (Hitler) guard buying a sandwich from a van, funnily enough parked outside the door.

I’d like to think no-one ever thinks of any dog as a “work tool”. 🙁

    Paul

Paul like Canaries in the pits, hunting dogs in a pack and ferrets in the field Some animals are used as a work tool and I’m afraid like some bad workers do, they abuse their tools.
My grandad took an apple or carrot every day of his pit life for the pony’s their he treat them like a work mate and any one he found abusing them got the short sharp shock treatment.

There is a Police Dog Handler that lives in a village near me and I often see the dog being exercised on farmland nearby; I imagine that these dogs cannot be exercised in ‘public’ areas used by other dog owners.

The ‘van’ that the dog is moved about in has signs on the side of it that state that the vehicle is ‘air-conditioned’ and that the public shouldn’t be worried if the dog is left unattended in the vehicle. Possibly there was a failure of a similar system in the van in question?

I cannot imagine that the two dogs died as a result of wilful neglect.

It all depends on which coller the dog has on,they put on its work coller and the dog switches into working mode.

Is this death of a police officer or unfortunate demise of a work tool.
