Pak concerned over IAF’s proposed jt exercises with US & UK

Islamabad, Aug 7 (PTI) Pakistan may raise India’s proposed joint exercises with Britain and United States at the the talks on conventional CBMs in New Delhi tomorrow. Islamabad has already proposed during last year’s talks on conventional CBMS here that there should be no military exercises involving third countries in disputed areas, which India declined to accept. Pakistan Foreign office spokesman Naeem Khan said yesterday his country is trying to verify the genuineness of the reported statement of IAF chief S P Tyagi that India would conduct joint exercises with the air forces of US and Britain in Jammu and Kashmir in November this year and early next year respectively. Pakistan would come out with a proper response after verifying the report, Dawn daily today quoted him as saying. Pakistan’s defence spokesman Major General Shaukat Sultan said his country would verify as to which all air bases would be included for conducting the exercises. Given that the exercises were being held in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan was in the process of obtaining details like which of the bases exercises would be conducted and the number of forces involved, Sultan told the newspaper. On Friday, Tyagi had said in Srinagar that Indian Air Force will be conducting joint air exercises with its US and British counterparts in November and early next year. A joint India-US mountaineering exercises involving the two militaries in Jammu and Kashmir last year had caused considerable disquiet in Pakistan. Pakistan also proposed parity of conventional weapons and forces which India dismissed as impractical as India’s strategic and defence concerns stretched beyond India-Pak borders.

    Another fire in pakistan?????

When will they keep their mouth shut?

    For WarPAC

Mig 21 in a interceptor role just due to lack of range. even the bison today has just an 18min sortie on a combat mission (With re-heat) on internal fuel. External does not increase it by much.

Mig 23-27 for deep penetration strikes.

    Mig 29 for air superiority

    Mig 25/31 for interception.

    For NATO

    F-4, much or less everything.

    Starfighter

    F-15 for airsuperiority

    F-14 for Naval Air support

    Jaguar for Maritime Strike.

A-10 the best tank buster around. Amazing canon.

so where’s the advantage of one-uping the F-22?

Satisfying the ego of the red general sitting somewhere in his Nuclear safe bunkers. Hmmmm….. I wonder when will the dogs rule men?

Then the nozzles will have to turn more then 90 deg so that the thrust applies on the CG. impressive. the JSF needs a lift fan to assist, so that wold make the plane spin? I guess not cause: Mig 29 OVT breaks the laws of physics. Bravo!!! LOL
