Well I am sure if we provide the software to the dealers in Nehru Place, New Delhi it would take them max 1 month to crack the software.

And its no joke about their ability its been proven for all comercial software. Windows XP was available in full version there before it was formally launched by Microsoft. Infact you can buy a full version Software for less then $2 there.

Although very unethical they can crack anything. 😛 lol

United States is watching that country very closely.

    Anger in my heart,
    Pity in my heart.
    Sorrow in my eyes,
    Never could they lie.

    Crying loud for twenty years,
watch, watch what’s happened to my valley.
    You didn’t care,
    Now you ask why?

A narow band on our world,
    spreading fear like fire.
Nip the thorn where it grew,
find the cure for this flu.

    The reds are gone,
    the enemy new.
    You watching them now,
Just like we watched you two.

India to set up satellite-based military SBS system by 2007

    http://www.chinaview.cn 2005-08-04 21:52:08

NEW DELHI, Aug. 4 (Xinhuanet) — India is building up a satellite-based Military Surveillance and Reconnaissance (SBS) System, which will become operational by 2007.

“Program is in advanced stage of development and is planned tobe operational by 2007,” Indian Defense Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in Parliament Thursday.

Mukherjee’s comments assume significance as the project, a joint venture between the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), had received a setback recently.

The system was to be operational by 2005 and the defense minister said validation of technologies had taken more time than anticipated.

Though ISRO and DRDO officials were tightlipped about the project, experts said setting up of extensive ground-based surveillance systems, hooked up to the country’s remote sensing satellites, would give the country a capability to keep a watch onall explosive spots, missile silos and movements in the neighborhood as well as sudden military build-ups. to be exact they are 8 yrs old. i dont think we should go for them.

It would be like buying a second hand car. looks good but lots of problems in the run. IMO lets not waste money on these 12 aircrafts and expedite the 126 procurement.

Qatar halts Mirage deal, as India’s bid was low
    Washington, August 04, 2005 (PTI)

Qatar has ceased negotiations with India for the sale of 12 used Mirage 2000-5 aircraft claiming the bid quoted by New Delhi was too low, ‘Defence News’ weekly said.

It said that India had offered $350 million though the Indian Air Force technical team had suggested $565 million. Qatar offered the aircraft for $565 million.

The planes are equipped with multi-targeting advanced radar, an integrated electronic warfare suite and a glass cockpit, said the weekly.

This was reported too. what do I beleive?

Meat i would smoke anything with you. First prove it that the flanker is not better then anything except the f-22 and maybe the rafael. And by Flanker i mean the flankers in service. and by anything else i mean anything else that does not have stealth/or the 5th gen aircrafts in it. remember the flanker is not a 5th gen.

Agreed they are from the soviet era. but its well known that they did not have money even then. and yet there people came up with the best operational fighter we have today. Its been the best for 15yrs :0 and its only now that western fighters are moving ahead. give them time and they will comeup with something cool.

Yes there has been news about india in a JV for PakFA.

Keeping my figers crossed for that to happen.

Well did they not make the flanker when they did not have money? or the mig 29? or the mig 25/31.
