India exporting BrahMos missile system

Indian Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee told the Parliament on Thursday that New Delhi was selling BrahMos missile systems to other countries, but declined to give details “due to the sensitivities involved with export of the missiles”. In a written reply to a question put forward by Brajkishore Tripathy and two others, Mukherjee pointed out that the BrahMos system was an Indo-Russian joint venture project and that both New Delhi and Moscow had already agreed to use it in their respective armed forces and to export the system to friendly countries. He said that comprehensive quality arrangements had been made to produce world-class missiles in both the countries with interchangeability of components and sub-systems. The defence minister also revealed that the government had sanctioned Rs 1,197,130.90 million to be used for modernising the countryâ€™s armed forces as part of its tenth Five Year Plan covering the 2002-07 period

Welcome. There is no point in debating salient points here on a thread started by a troll.

Take it up elsewhere and we can have a polite conversation, since you seem to be serious. Unlike “Anza” 1, 2, 3…..(energizer bunny, keeps reregistering after being banned :p)

PAF F-16 welcome to the Forum.

I would like to request you to please go through all of Anza’s ID and the posts.

And by the way chinese aircrafts are reverse engineered. so not exactly the russian thing. Thats why they are crap. Hell Russia developed on the Mig 21f that they are still churning out.

IAF has Mig 23 and 27 as single engine. The navy has Shar as single engine. Dua engine aircrafts are looked at for increased reliability.

WOW and even after that we have a much larger Air Force then your flying club called PAF. Wot Irony 😉

And still we can buy our own aircrafts, have our own R&D programmes and like our esteemed neighbour never have to beg borrow or steel.

Isnt it funny to see Anza (named after a license produced Chinese QW SAM btw) suck upto China so much?

As if the Chinese care! Or as if they are going to donate a few Sukhois to PAF anytime! :p

Ok now I am getting tired guys, I tried to fly so low but could never reach Anza’a altitude.

Hats off to you man. I PAF pilots can fly at the same alt as you… hmmm… IAF will have to forget about A2A and buy more lightning pods :diablo:
