When was Indonesia offered the T-50? Indonesia needed a Russian loan just to buy the few Flankers it has ordered.
when we sign the latest batch of flanker, as a i’ve said, they ask the airforce brass if we want ‘future planes’…Of course it is not serious yet, it seems they just want to make sure there will be vast export market when the time come
loan.for administration and budget stuff…
Actually there is still disagreement concerning loan, so we paying Sukhoi with our money (which is why we purchase them by very small batches of 2-4). loan just paying methods, US often give them too in one package with FMS….
at least our economy is waaaaaaay better than nation like Ethiopia who also bought flanker :diablo:
Uhm.. Why are you going about debating the Su-34 & Su-50 export..
First of all the Su-50 will not be on sales for anybody but India.
WTF…
Sukhoi already offered my nation (Indonesia) govt their ‘future plane’.
Then you didn’t visit other forums…
I see your pont — SH is LO, not VLO, so maybe I should refrease: “OTOH, the final product (the oprational T 50 or whatever they name it) will probaly be VLO instaed LO, like the SH. ”
However, that’s not the engines (which BTW have blockers) that make the SH LO and not VLO (I believe that this was the reason of the picture).
Super Whorenet is not both….
it just got cosmetical stealthy feature for marketing purpose….
Ok, now after the first flight of the new stealth aircraft PAK FA T-50
A question rise….This aircarft is “Aircraft carrier capable” ????
yes!
with its advanced TVC and powerful engine, it will be easier to navalize it then navalize the flanker….
just add the arrester hook and more suitable landing gear set, and that is all..
GSh-30-2 (as used in Su-27 and MiG-29 series) has two barrels.
it really 2 gun…
GSh-30-2 is A2G optimized gun so pakfa wont use it
expect 2×30 GSh-30-1
note that, while both have ‘GSH-30’ name those are very different beast…
^
incompetent fearmongering article
Why the F-117 did prefer radar blockers over the s-duct?
but the current pak fa seem to use none, no radar blocker n no s-duct either:confused:
Yeah i agree, i spent some times on different forums the last two days.
I find it frustrating that so many people go;
Reminds me of YF-23, or a mix of YF-23 & F-22..
Other; a dressed up flanker..
On http://www.F-16.net they claim its a bad copy of YF-23:rolleyes:Thanks
What you expect from an-F16 worshipper website :D
The iranians are developing their own stealth fighter :p
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/iran/shafaq.htm
designed by MIG….
Yeahright , how many supermegaflankers and superiortoanythingelseT90Β΄s have Russia bought after 1989 ? not sooo many π
Im just typing number π
So how many of these birds can Russia ACTUALLY afford to have in active service , 30-40 or even less ? At all ?
1200 π
Here you have it, it would curve slightly upwards too.
how do you know ? you never take a peek to those big hole…..
You really canΒ΄t tell. One misaligned panel can destroy your whole RCS reduction, while the sawtooth shaped panes should avoid that radar waves are reflected by the outlines of a panel. But then some companies claim that using RAM coating on those parts works equally well.
Looking closer at the plane, I would say most of the RCS reduction went into the frontal section. The still rounded engine nacelles look like a quite good reflector and the rear end very much looks like a SU-27/35. With lots of Gaps and 90Β° angles.
But I am sure the plane will develop until the series production starts.
agree, it seems most of RCS reduction treatment in frontal part
perhaps they consider PAK-FA is so superior that they wont have to runaway from any opponents π
Probably slightly worse than the Eurofighter…….I mean they do look the same, what?
Eurofighter without external load in pylon π
Loks splendid. A few things are interesting. They seem to consider a rear looking radar on a RCS reduced fighter. The moveable parts on the LERX seem interesting.
It lacks much of the saw-toothed edges found on the F-22 or F-35.
And finally it looks huge and bad ass.
how much saw toothed edges reducing RCS ?
considering how different T-10 to operational flanker, the operational PAK-FA will looks different n improved much too CMIIW….
