There are only 2 or 3 Su-34 flying with AL-31FM1 engines.. Apparently there are no need for the extra thrust on the Su-34 at this point.

Can anybody verify this?

iirc AL-31FM1 not only have more power but also have longer lifetime…
why they choose old less durable engine :confused:

I don’t think anything else but unguided rockets and bombs could be packed on these dual pylons (as this scheme suggests anyway).

R27 is not unguided rockets, and if it able to carry 2x R27 there is no reason it could carry 2x rvv-ae (and the rvv-ae in the chart are assymetric that is weird)
