So there were more than the 15 flights I logged !??

J-20 Flight-log (until 19 June):

1. 11. January – 12:50 to 13:08 (18 minutes)
2. 17. April – 16:25 to 17:50 (1 hour 25 minutes)
3. 5. May – 15:30 to 16:24 (55 minutes) – first flight with landing gear up
4. 5. May – 17:50 to 18:47 PM (57 minutes)
5. 12. May – ? minutes
6. 14. May – ?? to 14:20 (? minutes)
7. 14. May – 16:28 to 17:18 (50 minutes)
8. 24. May – 15:16 to 16:16 (60 minutes)
9. 1. June – ? minutes
10. 2. June – ? minutes … sadly no additional info !
11. 17. June – about 30 min … maybe with new engine !
12. 17. June – about 60 min
13. 18. June – about 60 min
14. 18. June – about 60 min
15. 18. June – about 40 min

Besides that – and really no offence !! – does anyone know how many flights in comparison the T-50 had at the same time after its first flight (about 4 months) ??

Not 100% sure (but fromthe SDF) the first T-50 had already logged 39 test flights when the second one was ready and that was 15 months after the 1st one (?).

So CAC has now 15 flights within 7 months …

Today J20 flew 3 times.

2 flights happened in day time, lasted abt one hour each

Third flight ran into night time,abt 40 mins

Impressive ! …. and it landed back at CAC ?? ;)(or in Xian ??:p)

Besides that – and really no offence !! – does anyone know how many flights in comparison the T-50 had at the same time after its first flight (about 4 months) ??

Today J 20 flew twice and it was caught in below image

And again my usual question: Any additional info available (time, duration ??)

Reportedly there were some strange observations on one nozzle again, which was a bit different … maybe a replacement engine ?!

Actually I think there are two real photos at the moment showing two J-20 and both were taken within a few moments, while one was standing in the hangar and the other one came back from a taxi-test (of flight) ??

However – as “overscan” said in the Secret-Projects Forum:

The original photo could be genuine or faked, its very difficult to tell. If you left the camera on a tripod and took multiple pics while the J-20 went out of the hangar and back, its fakable.

We need something more to be sure. Multiple pics. Eyewitness accounts. Video would be much more convincing.

This is IMO most likely a PS-composition of the other two photos … by using the new one, which IMO was taken a bit earlier than the one already posted a few days earlier. As such IMO in the first photo – the one now found – one is sitting in the hangar and the other one is on the taxiway on the left … rolling from left to right in front of the hangar.

Indeed it is, but we’re quite used to seeing SD-10s on J-10s by now. Until now, I don’t think there’s been a pic of the JF-17 with SD-10s?

IIRC the PAF chaps at Farnborough were saying the integration work should have been completed by end of last year or early this year. Not sure when that pic was taken.

Yes … and even more impressive on the new twin-launcher pylons …. besides that even if we’ve seen the PL-12 on the J-10, on operational birds the older PL-11 was more common, whereas the PL-12 was at first sent to the J-8F units.

Reagrding the foto date, as far as I know they were taken last week during the latest J-20 taxi-tests showing the open brake.

Looks very much like from a scale-model CAD design … and in mind of the lower slot to fit a desk-stand I would say of a small scale !?

Do You know anything of the source ?

Not sure about the belly-bay … but You are correct with the side-bays, they are shaped like a < in front.

Just a question after I received the JF-17-supplement from the latesst AFM yesterday.

Does anyone have a photo of a No. 16 Sqn. bird with its markings (on the tail again ?) ???

We all know the “spiders” from the No. 26 Sqn.. quite well but from the other unit ????
