I think scanners are fine, they only get rattled when you can transmit into them, I got searched at stansted last year and the bloke seen my scanner and didn’t take it off me.

Dunno about Perimeter though, however gatwick’s got a nice sign saying ‘members of the spotting community help us defeat terror’ or something like that, maybe LHR has to.

Oh XpBoy, thought you might also like the high level frequency, because Newcastle is in EGTT airspace, but in scottish’s control responsibility I believe.

    EGTT_N_CTR is on 131.05

Some of the EGPH shuttles route over the VOR aswel, and I see the odd EZY. But Ren’s right, they’re all heading for the track, if you’ve got a radio listen out on erm…:

    EGPX_E_CTR : 124.500
    EGPX_W_CTR: 129.220

Normally hear quite a bit about them on that.

Does the default FS2004 one not suit your needs?

You would have knew that if you were a vatsimmer!

And if you want a real online experience its IVAO you want not vatsim 😀

    IVAO

    rock freak

I see an error in English grammar here, I remember reading somewhere that the words IVAO and ‘a real online experience’ cannot be associated in the same sentence.

At least with vatsim its simply, squawkbox.

OK if you want my help:

go to http://www.goteampseak.com and download a client which allows you to run an online chat session if you know what I mean. E-mail all your pilots and tell them to get onto the teamspeak at an organised time, where you can have them all togther.

-Make clear who is who, get to know your members.
-Make clear you routes, and who or what aircraft are allowed to fly them
-Ask people if they’re actually serious or are they just faffing on

    Online flying is great,

to all you Keyjet members, if youre new go to http://www.vatsim-uk.org/newpilot and read up on the general idea of vatsim, sids, stars etc.

Next, go to http://www.ais.org.uk register with one username and get looking at the charts for the airports you fly.

    KNOW YOUR AIRCRAFT
    KNOW YOUR DEPARTURE POINT
    KNOW YOUR DESTINATION
and SPEAK CLEARLY TO THE ATC as he WILL do his best to help you.

And, feel free to fly to Newcastle when your online!

    Good luck,

I was once told (quite recently actually) something which I have never thought of before, and i strongly agree with it:

    and i qoute:

“If you have a passion for aviation, you wont give a damn about the aircraft you fly on, you will simply be greatful for being able to ‘fly'”

There is no competition (meaning my view has chnaged within the last 6 months) both aircraft are brilliant, I mean would you pass up on the chance of flying just because it was an Airbus A320 and not a Boeing 737, no because then you’d be stupid. They both kick ass!

    Hence the signature,
    Ben
