11.20 today just had a formation of a search and rescue Seaking, two Chinhooks and an Apache flying north over my house in Northampton at about 500ft. Where are they going?

Thank you Longshot for finding that for me. If you have at this thread I posted on the USAAF Forum you can see that 44-77551 flew with the 29th Troop Carrier Squadron 313th Troop Carrier Group on Operation Varsity.

I saw Sea Harrier ZD614 yesterday evening (22nd April) on the back of a truck heading eastbound on the A14 past Ipswich. Must have had an overnight break at Ipswich and then headed down the A12 this morning.
It could have been used in conjunction with RE8 aeroplanes as these aeroplanes which were fitted with wireless to transmit coordinates to the artillery batteries.
I came across this painting on the RAF Museum flickr page sometime ago showing some of the wireless equipment being used

Please pm me with your email address. I have a huge blueprint for the CG13 it is about 5ftx4ft. I don’t think the RAF ever operated this glider in the ETO. There are some records at Kew of them testing one in India using a Halifax.
The CG13 was only used by the 313th Troop Carrier Group and the 349th Troop Carrier Group in the ETO at the end of WW2. A few survived in the UK at the end of the war and I have seen a picture of one that was used as temporary housing accomadation. There was one that survived up until the mid 70s on a caravan sit at Filey in Yorkshire, but it disappeared, presumably broken up and scrapped. It was probably the last survivng one in the world at the time.
The control tower at West Malling is right behind Asda, I get to see it ever time I deliver to the store.

Have you got a copy this Battle Picture Library?
I would like to know the serial number of the C46 displayed undernesth the Eiffel Tower if anyone knows it. The C46 was part of a USAAF display that was held between August and October 1945, I seem to recall that someone may have written an article about this display in one of the aviation magazines in the last few years but I cannot recall which one, maybe somebody else can?
