A great batch of A346 these months (Virgin, Qatar, DLH)

Lucky you!
In First or Economy class? First seems to be delightful. 😎
Thanks again, your comments are motivating!
Today, the A380 MSN009, F-WWEA, made its mandatory RTO prior to first flight.
The f/f is scheduled on friday, I hope to be able to bring you a good picture of this moment, as I tried on 27th april last year for MSN001.
MSN002, F-WXXL, is made ready for the Early Long Flights to take place in almost ten days from now. These flights will bring around 450 people from Toulouse to… Toulouse! 😀
Thanks for the info, FightingIrish!
Here are more pics, playing with light and shadow
The A318 is believed to end its flight tests carreer this month:

New twin-engined variant of Bae-146?
MSN004 performed powerplant drainage tests last week (engine#2):

I don’t really know for sure what’s going on in Lagardere plant, by AFAIK, those planes were built and flew :
– MSN001, F-WWOW, flight tests
– MSN002, F-WXXL, flight tests
– MSN003, F-WWSA, SIA1, at Hamburg
– MSN004, F-WWDD, flight tests
– MSN005, F-WWSB, SIA2, at Hamburg
– MSN007, F-WWSD, furur-Etihad, at hamburg
and here is MSN009, F-WWEA, futur-Etihad
MSN011 (UAE1), MSN006 (SIA3) are built for sure. Some more airframes are under assembly at Lagardere but I don’t know the MSNs.
Here is the first A320 for Air One, just back from first flight!

While we are talking cargos… 😎

Hi there,
few pics from Toulouse, where the sunny and hot days are not affecting too much the flights… But holidays certainly do! 😀
As you may have notice, the old A340-300 F-WWAI (MSN001 of the A340/330 family) is now in full new Airbus c/s :

another A340…

Weird hybrid scheme!

and cargos:

Some more…

Just before its delivery : A330 China Airlines “Taiwanese Fruits”
New A330 for Qatar, the first in new livery!
New LoCo airlines in India : IndiGo, here on first flight
Air Astana, first brand new A320

A abandonned JetStar…
And some cargos…

Hi!
as you see, French Government has now its “Air Force One” as this A340 entered service few days ago ans is just back from Libreville.

Thank you everyone!
Just to let you know: I’m reworking my website structure so pics will not be available for some time. Don’t worry, it should be just a matter of hours or days, ans as soon as I modify the links to the pics, it will be ok. 😉
At the end, I hope to be able to propose you a dynamically updated aviation section on my website, instead of a painfully-manually-not-so-updated one! 😀
Thanks a lot!
Here are some news, with the new A320 for Virgin America (should be the second one, the first one was ferried to the US unpainted), the latest A320 for Kingfisher, and the first A345 for Etihad. Note the blank windows in the front portion of the A345…

Thanks for moving the thread in the right place, GA.
Sorry about the size of the pics, if it can arm d/l time of some of you. But it would take me too much time and energy to prepare and post clickable thumbs…
As I am urged to post more often I would like it to be as quick as possible 😉
Here are two more:
First flight of the future TC-JND A332 for Turkish, and a new A332 for Air China, back from paint job in Chateauroux.

Here you’ll find my pic of the brand new A333 for Air Caraibes:
The next A340’s for Virgin Atlantic for 2006 are due in August and October.
The next A346 for VA just made its first flight today. It’s F-WWCB, MSN764, reg G-VFIZ.
Is this the new A346HGW?
Yes it is. HGW = High Gross Weight.
This is an heavier version of the A346, enhancing its range.
why has this A380 got red bits on its tail and tail wing?
Red leading edges are for icing test. it makes it easier to see the ice forming on the edges.
