I had to dig deep into the forum to retrieve this thread!
That’s what you get when you don’t take good care of your stuff. 😀 😉
Few pics, before going on vacations, and correctly ending 2005.
B757 First Choice, for ski charter flights from UK
One A380 is hidden in this pic, would you be able to find it?
To Australia : nice take off on delivery flight yesterday.
Here is the very first A330 for China Eastern!

New at TLS this winter : TLS-Hamburg with Germanwings:

Tango Charlie, Beluga #3, in even-whiter-than-#5 livery
And one more A300 for UPS
That’s all folks for this year!
Merry Christmas and see you in 2006 with even more A380 pics 😀
Thanks for your comments, guys!
Is the A346 longer then the A380.
Yes, it is. The A346 is the longest airliner in the world, almost 76m long while the A380-800 is almost 73m.
Some more pics, from my point of view 😉
WWDD is currently flying towards Dubai, while MSN001 WWOW is flying back to Toulouse. They’ll probably cross each other’s route at one time…

Well, MSN002 departed today for Hamburg. We will see it again in TLS in march 2006 probably.
MSN001 is getting prepared for asian/australian tour.
As far as I know, the Singapore stop will be short, and SIA titles will then be replaced by Qantas ones.
MSN004 flew today, probably testing high speed behavior.
Here are two versions of the same pic. I prefer the B&W one (don’t like the primer greenish look). What about you? 😉

Almost live from Toulouse, MSN001 back from its first flight with special SIA markings.
Can’t wait to see the complete SIA livery on that whale!

Shadow, even if it is close to routine now for us, there are still lots of people waiting for the big bird to land all around the airport. Fortunately it’s not the big crowd, but every day there are let’s say 10 to 20 guys on the small “spotter hill”. In normal times, this means before April 27th, I was often alone on this hill 😉 It became a weekend outing.
Now the third A380 has made is maiden flight, the next one should be MSN007… but we will have to wait some long weeks.
MSN001 features now Singapore titles, especially for the asian/australian tour.
Pics will be available soon on the net, from French Frogs friends.
Unfortunately, I can’t give you details on MSN001 problems.
Here some news:
Indeed, as you may know, A380 MSN002, test reg F-WXXL, has gone airborne yesterday in mid afternoon.
MSN004 flew perfo flights, one of 8 hours and another one of 10h (endurance has to be tested before Middle-East/Far-East campaign).
MSN001 is experiencing some engine problems, but will be prepared for Australia tour, and will fly again very soon.
MSN004 will do Dubai rehersal next week.
Apart from that, Royal Jordanian will soon receive its new A320.

Some news
F-WWDD flew today, taking off around 11h for its second flight, in much better weather conditions than during 1st flight (even though we’ve got 30knts max wind gusts).

Today’s flights:

The new (third) KLM A330 is named “Place de la Concorde – Paris”. 😉
First flight today.

Eh! I thought this one was already delivered! 😮

Did you ever see a Red Carpet tiptoeing…

A380 news (sorry if this is already written elsewhere in the forum):
The A380 which is going to visit FRA will probably be MSN004, AFAIK.
MSN002 is planned to fly next week.
MSN001 should be prepared at the end of this month/beginning of november for the Asian/Oceanian tour.
Yesterday’s deliveries…

And few minutes ago, MSN002 being transfered from FAL to Flight Tests…

At this time, MSN004 is performing its maiden flight!
Take off around 11h, for a 5 hours flight.
Weather is rainy and windy today, but it didn’t affect the take off…

Thanks for your comments.
Shadow : I was not in Toulouse this week so I can’t confirm but as far as I know, maiden flight is scheduled on next monday…
Sincil : of course I saw and heard the one-eleven taking off. A little bit noisy, and smoky 😉
Shadow,
MSN004 is believed to make its maiden flight next week.
Some enthousiastics have already arrived here to watch this, as there are more and more people all around the airport right now… Nevertheless, not the big crowd we had in April.
This week a Bac One-Eleven from ETPS came to TLS. First time I saw one.
And as usual, some tests flights…

Near-live update!
MSN004 just made its way to the Flight Tests area this morning, around noon.

Few minutes after that, Charlie Alpha took off while the solar eclipse was coming to its end…

What about a little update?

In the news :
– The 380 Oscar Whisky should be back at work next week after a one-week flight interruption
– the second 380 (Delta delta) should arrive at Flight Tests Dept in the following days
– the second A330 for KLM has been delivered
– the Thai A346 you can see above was in acceptance flight today, so delivery is close now
– the Etihad A330 reg A6-EYE is flying on delivery right now
That’s all folks.
Oh, I forgot one thing : an exceptionnal visit by Hong-Kong Express Emb170, en route to HongKong!

Hi all!
At the time I’m writing this, the second Qatar A330 with special Doha2006 livery should be flying towards the Middle East. The blue aircraft took off this late afternoon.

Apart from this, let’s have a look at the previous days’ flights 😉
