Nice collection Rab, that was the last Delta service to operate from EDI
Ray.
Park and Ride my good fella thats the way to go.
Great day, fantastic weather. Some wonderful displays. Shame the company organising the car parking didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Getting out was a nightmare
Some cracking shots Rab, how did you get on with the camera, is it fixable or are the wounds fatal.
Ray.
Cracking set of shots Rab, have to agree with Fred, the last shot is the pick of the set.
Ray.
Scotty,
Are you the fella up on the mound who suggested to me we should put stairs in for the older fellas, I was the rotund chap wearing the Blue Berghaus jacket. If it was you it is nice to put a face to the name.
Nice selection of the days movements.
(just had a thought, if we had known one and other we could have stripped to the waist and debated this Lockerbie/release thing man to man) :):):):)
Well spotted Lance.
My Apologies Scotty.
Well spotted Lance.
My Apologies Scotty.
Scott,
Given the evidence available at the time of his trial, which by the by was not held in accordance with usual Scots Law, he was found guilty by a panel of three judges, and as many commentators stated at the time, if he had been tried in front of a jury, he would probably not been found guilty.
As far as the hero’s welcome is concerned it hardly falls within the remit of the Scottish Exec/govt to tell his supporters not to turn out and welcome him home, remember in their eyes he was innocent, no one person from the Libyan govt was there to see him home, nor has Gaddaffi so far made contact with him.
Just one last point, in the time since the SNP took over running the country there has been four appeals for early release on compassionate grounds due to terminal Illness, all of these have been granted, so to suggest that this is an isolated incident is far from correct. The people you mention who have died in jail have nought to do with the Scottish Govt.
“A shame that 90% of the world will now see Scotland as a buzz word for weak fools”.
I don’t know where that came from Scott, but that is patently untrue, Most of the respected media across Europe have stated in the last twenty four hours that the decision to allow release was the correct one, the only criticism seems to be the sort of cack handed way it was dealt with, even the respected broadsheets in the States don’t have it as any leader story, the point highlighted by them was the rather distasteful welcome he got on returning home.
I would rather be governed by people who have some compassion and will listen to the people who elected them, than the shower of untruthful turds 400 miles south of Glasgow, who were too busy with their noses in the trough to be paying attention to what was going on elsewhere. I make the last statement with the greatest respect to the fine people of England, Wales and N.Ireland who also have to put up with these idiots in London.
Anyway Bud, bad to aeroplanes, you missed a nice wee USA C40-B into EDI today.
Awra Best.
Ray.
