Quite a shock, his presenting style was always a good balance and easy to take in, he will be missed

I’m just repeating what I was told by someone who did enjoy having a bit of fun with it in the early 60s’
thanks for all that, from what I gather at Strubby, a pilot had to be in control of the jet engine but would be reprimanded by the driver if it was given too much juice or ended up removing chunks of tarmac, but was at the time a very desirable job among the pilots due to the lack of flying.

The first thought would be a F22 but would it be likely that there are any F35s over here for evaluation purposes? Ok so they’re a bit smaller and not questioning your observation skills but if the F15 is the only reference point then the assumption could be made.
Interesting to see it in the pre-paint scheme and guess they couldn’t wait any longer to try it out, must admit I’d probably feel the same way!
