LOL! I’m one of them. We are getting redudancy pay but not for about 8 weeks or so. We have lost though a month and halfs flight pay and commision on top.
Thanks, i hope to find another cabin crew job but its going to be tough. i was on the last flight into gatwick from sharm-el-sheik. it was very emothional driving past all our aircraft sealed up, lots of teary eyes.
Lost my job at XL this morning, cabin crew no more 🙁
I think I have one of the best locations. From our crew room.
LOL, no i didnt, on our 767s, for some reason the windows where our crew seats are located are angled to only look down at the ground for emergencies etc
I was on that XL B767, im cabin crew for them
Great report, i did one of the trials on 7th feb and did LHR-Lyon then a connecting flight from Nice to Johannesburg then lastly a passenger arriving from Athens. looking forward to the last one, everything should be almost finished in the terminal.
Great pics, where did u take them. I’m going up on friday hoping that departures will be on rwy 08R.
I have just flown STN-MAN and BHD-STN with Air Berlin and both flights were completley full.
Thanks for the info.
Its leased from XL Airways France hence the french registraion and was previously with Star Airlines before it became XL.
Thanks for that!
I think this is a really good idea!
I am only in my first year at college and studying Maths AS, Geography AS and Travel and Tourism AS. I am not sure what kind of aspect of the airline/airport industry that I want to work in but I thought having work experience with an airline or airport might help me make up my mind.
